Story of the Film:
Gunga
Jumna is a powerful tale of two brothers
born into poverty in a rural village in India. Their lives take drastically
different paths due to circumstances and injustice.
Gunga,
the elder brother, sacrifices his own future to ensure his younger brother
Jumna gets an education and a better life. Despite his honest and hardworking
nature, Gunga is falsely accused and imprisoned due to the manipulations of the
cruel village landlord (zamindar) and his associates. When he is released, he
finds that the system is still against people like him. Eventually, Gunga is
forced by circumstances into the life of a dacoit (bandit), not by choice, but
out of desperation and injustice.
Meanwhile,
Jumna, raised away from all this, becomes a righteous police officer. Conflict
brews as the two brothers unknowingly become each other’s enemy — one
representing the law, the other rebelling against a corrupt system.

a gripping and emotional climax, Gunga and Jumna face off. Jumna learns too
late that the bandit he’s been chasing is his own brother. Gunga, fatally
