Short Story of the Film:
Rajiv
Lal (Shammi Kapoor) is the only son of a wealthy industrialist in Bombay. Tired
of city life and constant marriage pressure, he escapes to Kashmir under a fake
identity to enjoy peace and anonymity.
In
Kashmir, he meets a beautiful and innocent flower-seller named Champa (Sharmila
Tagore), and love blossoms between the two. However, Rajiv hides his real
identity, while Champa herself is unknowingly connected to a complicated past
involving Rajiv’s family.
Meanwhile,
villain Mohan (Pran) tries to exploit Champa and her adopted father, Ghulam
Rasool, to gain property and wealth.

Climax / Ending of the Film:
In
a dramatic climax, Rajiv’s true identity is revealed. Champa feels betrayed and
distances herself. But the truth about Champa’s parentage also comes to
light—she is the real daughter of Rajiv’s father’s late friend, whom he had
