Short Story of the Film:
Rajkumar
Bhanupratap (Shammi Kapoor), a young prince, returns to his kingdom after
studying abroad. But instead of being the dignified heir expected by the court,
he is fun-loving, playful, and often immature, much to the dismay of the
Rajmata (Lalita Pawar).
He
falls in love with Princess Sangeeta (Sadhana), unaware that political tensions
exist between their two royal families. In the background, Narpat (Pran), a
cunning courtier, is plotting to usurp the throne and cause conflict between
the kingdoms.
As
the story unfolds, the prince matures. He discovers the betrayal within the
palace, the secret plans of Narpat, and his own responsibility as the future
king.
